{"id":15837,"date":"2023-03-15T14:07:28","date_gmt":"2023-03-15T14:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldoforient.org\/tabbouleh-salad-a-delicious-and-healthy-combination-of-oriental-flavors\/"},"modified":"2023-04-27T08:20:53","modified_gmt":"2023-04-27T08:20:53","slug":"tabbouleh-salad-a-delicious-and-healthy-combination-of-oriental-flavors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldoforient.org\/en\/tabbouleh-salad-a-delicious-and-healthy-combination-of-oriental-flavors\/","title":{"rendered":"Tabbouleh salad &#8211; a delicious and healthy combination of oriental flavors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tabouli is a dish that originated in Lebanon, but has become world famous, like hummus, falafel and similar oriental dishes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tabbouleh is served in almost all oriental restaurants, and in the Middle East it is one of the most popular and frequently prepared salads.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the ingredients seem a bit incompatible, the taste of this wonderful salad will justify their combination.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients for 4 people:<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 cup Bungur (Couscous)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 bunch of parsley<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 piece of tomato<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 piece of cucumber<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 piece of lemon olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation:<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Soak the bungur in a little lukewarm water to soften it. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Squeeze half a lemon, and leave the bungur for about an hour to absorb the water and swell.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the meantime wash the parsley, dry it and chop it very, very, very finely.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Likewise, chop the tomato and cucumber very finely and mix it with the bungur.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If there is a little water left, drain it.
